What's New on VOD This Week? (10/13-10/16)

VOD 550
We're going to be switching up the format of our weekly VOD post through the end of October; with the sheer volume of titles hitting VOD between now and Halloween, we need to condense things a bit, or else risk having some crazy long posts.

You can still rent the movies or watch their trailers by clicking the posters below, so really, same thing, just a different format.

Tales of Halloween, The Diabolical, one of the best Horror Docs of all-time, and the return of the After Dark Horrorfest's 8 Films To Die For... yes, this is another massive week for Horror VOD!

  • Tales of Halloween looks like a fun little Horror Anthology, and it's #1 on our Must See list this week. On a sidenote, we love the hell out of that poster.
  • The Diabolical is a close #2.
  • As for More Brains: A Return To the Living Dead, well it's one of the best, most entertaining Horror Docs that we've ever seen, and if you're a fan of either Return Of the Living Dead or Documentaries in general, then you have to give it a watch. It's A+ material. Read our review HERE.

  • Angst is an oldie-but-goodie that has just been re-released to Blu-ray, and is worth a look on VOD.
  • As bad as The Haunting of Molly Hartley was (check out our review HERE), we're not expecting much from its sequel, The Exorcism of Molly Hartley. In fact, we're expecting nothing at all.
  • The Inhabitants looks decent enough, in that B-grade sort of way.
  • And Momentum, while not being a Horror flick at all, looks all kinds of kick ass, so we'll definitely check it out.

Not sure what the return of 8 Films To Die For will bring us (aside from 8 new Horror flicks), but hey, it's back, and at least some of them have to be good, right? We'll be checking them all out, so we'll let you know. Until then, click the links, check out the trailers, and support Indie Horror!
