Blu-ray & DVD Releases for March & April!

dvd bd2
It's cold outside, we're tired of shoveling snow, and we're really wish that Winter would just go away. The only thing really keeping us sane at this point is having some great movies to watch while we're cooped up in our homes, huddling under blankets to keep warm.

Below, you'll find a preview of some of the great Blu-ray & DVD releases heading our way over the next two months. Pieces, Krampus, Bride of Re-Animator, Your Vice is a Locked Room and Only I Have The Key, Game of Thrones, Cherry Falls, Frightmare, and Freaks and Geeks are probably the ones we're looking forward too the most, but we're pretty much excited for just about everything else that's listed below too.

  • You can click any of the pics below to order yourself some movies, or click the banner above to check out our full Blu-ray & DVD Release Dates List.
  • If you aren't already a member, you should really give Amazon Prime a shot, especially if you order movies on the regular like we do, because the free two-day shipping pays for itself after around 10 orders. Check it out for free HERE.

Random Picture Round-Up: Shower Scene Edition

Running around for their lives tends to leave the ladies who populate the Horror movies we love all sweaty, dirty, bloody, and covered in God knows what. They fight for their lives, and at the end of the day, they all deserve a long, hot, soapy, tender shower to relieve their stress.

Alright, so most of the shower scenes that we see in Horror movies aren't there for therapeutic value at all, but titillation and visual pleasure. We Humans are visual creatures though, so who cares if we ogle them creepily as they tend to their hygiene? It's not like they know we're watching anyway...

Don't judge us.

Some of the shower scenes below are classics, while others made poor movies a bit more bearable; either way though, they're all a part of the Horror lexicon.

  • You can click each pic to find out what movie they're from, if you don't recognize them. the links got to either Amazon, or IMDB, depending.
  • The movie's titles are also in the file name of the pictures, if you decide to save them to your computer.
  • One of the "Classic" scenes pictured below features a man, because, diversity.
  • Enjoy!

ICYMI: Our February Reviews!

We reviewed 14 movies in February, and much like the ones we reviewed in January, they were a mixture of old & new, good & bad. Unlike January though, most of what we watched in February fell on the good side of the quality fence.

Not counting the Cabin Fever remake, of course. That was just dreadful.

On the new movie front, we were blessed with the raunchy comedic gold of Deadpool; the oddly compelling Nina Forever; a cool Horror Anthology called Southbound; and the best worst movie ever, Troll 2. The oldies once again gave us all sorts of satisfaction too, with Salem's Lot, Dressed To Kill, and Torso reminding us why the 70's and 80's are hard to top, Horror-wise.

There were plenty of middle of the road efforts as well, but the only true abomination was the Cabin Fever remake. Just avoid it if you can.

So here they are listed in graded order, from “best” to “worst.” If you haven't read through them yet, feel free to do so now, and enjoy!
