December's Blu-ray of the Month: Cooties!

When a cafeteria food virus turns elementary school children into little killer savages, a group of misfit teachers must band together to escape the playground carnage. The film stars Elijah Wood, Rainn Wilson, and Alison Pill as teachers who fight to survive the most unruly students ever on the worst Monday of their lives!

As Horror Comedies go, Cooties was one hell of a pleasant surprise.

Early reviews were lukewarm after it premiered at Sundance way back in January of 2014, which prompted producers to re-tool the movie, and give it a different ending. That's never a good thing.

When we were finally able to see it this past September though, we were more than pleased to find that it was far better than most of those reviews gave it credit for, and it instantly became one of our favorite flicks of 2015. 

The Blu-ray, which is currently $13.99 on Amazon, is not only a worthy addition to any Horror Collection, but it's an an absolute steal. Unless you're not big on Horror Comedies. Then, probably not.
