There are some though, that are great movies that capture the Holiday Spirit... and then twist it all up into a carol of bloody terror! Then there are some that are cheesy-good times, but in a completely ridiculous way. Either way, they're a fun way to shake up the sweet, sanitized Holiday Season.
If you're in the mood for a truly quality Christmas Horror flick, any of the movies in our Top Six will do you right. For our money, either of the Black Christmas movies, or Krampus, are probably the best of them, but then again they all bring their own unique and terrifying vision to the Holiday Horror Sub-Genre, so why not just enjoy them all!
*Most of the links go to Amazon so that you can stream or grab yourself a copy of the movies; or in the case of some of the older & more obscure titles, IMDB, because they simply aren't available to stream or purchase.
How about Treevenge? It's a short movie but definitely worth mentioning when it comes to Christmas horror movies.
ReplyDeleteEl Dia De La Bestia takes place on Christmas Eve but it's not really Christmas themed.
