31 Days of Millennium Hotties- Ingrid Bolso Berdal

123546
Norwegian beauty Ingrid Bolso Berdal started off as a Jazz Singer and Improve Actor in her native land before getting into film, and to this day she's mainly into performing in the Theater. I mention this because it's interesting to us to find that she does movies in between her stage work, whereas a lot of Actors tend to do the opposite. She's actually an artistic chick, and that automatically makes her hotter in our book.

Plus, she's hot in general, so...
Lucky for us that a lot of the movies that she does in between her Theater gigs tend to be Horror & genre work. We first noticed this girl in the Norwegian slasher flicks Fritt Vilt 1 & 2, where she plays a Final Girl turned ass-kicking machine. They're decent flicks, and Ingrid was awesome in them.

She will shoot you in the face!
She's also had supporting roles in Chernobyl Diaries (which we weren't thrilled with) and The ABC's of Death (which was a mixed, but enjoyable bag.) She also played an evil bitch in the Medieval survival thriller, Escape (Flukt), and while we haven't seen it, we'd welcome the chance to see her play a cold-blooded killer for a change.

That's right, Ingrid, you kill those unruly kids!
Her biggest role to date (at least here in the U.S.) was in Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, where she played the Horned Witch. We had no idea that was her underneath all of the makeup and prothstetics. It's a smaller role in a higher profile movie, but that's alright because size doesn't matter to her. Don't worry though, she's going to be starring in the new Hercules movie alongside The Rock, so her career is only just getting started.

Bewitching.
Ingrid Bolso Berdal is a little Norwegian gem that has yet to break big to the world at large, but we Horror fans are more than familiar with her already. We're down with the whole Nordic Pixie look that she has going on, and we're all for her career getting bigger, because she's got those talents.

Now go get a hold of Fritt Vilt 1 & 2, and enjoy some Nordic slasher goodness!
