31 Days of Creepy Kids, Day 20: All of Them (The Children, 2008)

All of Them

We're really trying to keep it to a single kid per entry, but this gang is just too creepy to not include. The Children is the story of two British families that go to the country together for a Holiday. Early on, one of the kids sees some slime on the ground, touches it, gets sick, and it's not long before every kid in the house is looking all gaunt and hollow, and acting homicidal.

That baby doll looks happier than that girl does.
These kids truly do go above and beyond their creepy duties, as they just about kill every adult around them, and in pretty horrific fashion. One of them seems to be having a hard time wanting to kill her parents, but you just know she'll come around eventually.

At least she kills the right one...
The kids in this movie basically turn am idyllic country home into a bloody McDonald's Play Land of Death, and it scares me to think what will happen if they ever decide to venture back into the city.

Sequel please.

"Let's run down there and kill us one of them adults." ... "Nah, let's walk down there, and kill them all."
If you think about all of the things that make the average Creepy Kid movie so great, The Children personifies it all to a T. The dynamic of a parent realizing that it's "kill or be killed" when it comes to their own child, makes this movies profoundly disturbing. Of course, Creepy Kids are at the heart of it all, so it's like a double creepiness that's in effect. If you haven't seen this movie yet, you're missing out.

The creepiest part of the movie, and look, it's full of kids!
