- Because there are so many great movies that could fit into both categories, we split up "Zombie" and "Infected" movies into two separate lists. Too many worthy movies would have been left out in the cold if we hadn't done so.
- Cemetery Man, Dead Alive, Burial Ground, and Dead Set are going to be hard to find, unless you’re willing to spend a bit more on a DVD, or import a Region 2 Blu-ray.
- The Honorable Mention section includes some fairly obscure (yet deserving), movies.
If you're in the mood for a truly quality Zombie flick, any of the movies in our Top Six will do you right. For our money, Return of the Living Dead and the original Dawn of the Dead are probably the best of them, but then again they all bring their own unique and terrifying vision to the Zombie Sub-Genre, so enjoy them all!
*Most of the links go to Amazon so that you can stream or grab yourself a copy of the movies; our review of the movie (when applicable); or in the case of some of the older & more obscure titles, IMDB, because they simply aren't available to stream or purchase.
What about Fido and The Battery?
ReplyDeleteWith lists, there are always some movies that "Have" to make it because they're great; some that "Have" to make it because they were enjoyable; some that "Should" make it for those same reasons; and then some that "Could" make it.
DeleteThose two fall into the "Could" catergory for us. If anything, the could replace Dead Space or Juan & Goal of the Dead, but that's about it.
Just not our faves.
