OK, so this is kinda water themed.
ReplyDeleteSo I was watching this random movie, 'Raise the Titanic!'(which BTW has the best John Barry score ever made), and it was actually a well made movie. In fact I think if it weren't for this movie, we wouldn't have movies like 'Titanic', becuase apparently this movie I was watching mad the first ever horizon pool for this scale model they made of the Titanic, so they could film it being risen from the water and other effects. It was also before they has found the actual wreck and knew that it had split in 2. Anyway, if you click on this link, you will see a google maps 3D view next to the original horizon pool in Malta, and if you look closely, you can see the outline of the damn model that they built for the movie in 1978, they just left if sitting there to rot for the last 40 years, lmao. I don't know why buy I think that is cool. Some of this tech is so cool. virtual trips using google streets and all.
