SDCC '16: Scream Factory Announces 13 new titles!

Yes, we're still sifting through the fallout of Comic-Con, as there are still notable announcements to cover. Like this one...

This past weekend, Scream Factory, one of our favorite boutique Genre Blu-ray labels, announced 13 new titles that they'll be adding to their already impressive catalogue, including two of our favorite Horror movies of all-time.

Check out the Press Release below.

13. DEAD OF WINTER (1987) – Chilling thriller starring Mary Steenburgen and the late great Roddy McDowell.

We have no other details to report on this time. Expect though that some of these will be begin releasing in November.

We hope you are as excited as we are about these. Which ones are you looking forward to this most???"

Now, the movie on that list that we're most excited about is Bubba Ho-Tep. Not only is it an excellent movie, but it's never been on Blu-ray before, and the fact that Scream is working with Don Coscarelli to give us a Collector's Edition of the 00's Classic means that it will get the love and care that it deserves.

We're also curious to see if they'll be doing a completely new transfer of Black Christmas too. If so, it will be a Must Own title for us, as it's one of the best Horror flicks ever made.

Add to those the 2 killer rat movies from the 70's; two great David Cronenberg flicks; the two Poltergeist and Slumber Party Massacre sequels; and Dead of Winter, and we've got a lot to look forward to from Scream Factory over the next few months, and into the new year.

It's a good time to be a Horror fan.
