The Films of TIFF 2017, Part Two

The ever-fantastic Toronto International Film Festival got underway last Thursday, and as usual, the festival promises to a showcase for great Horror & Genre films, as well as and early indicator as to which movies will be making waves come Oscar time.

Of course, most of our attention will be on the Midnight Madness portion of the festival, because that's where the dark things come out to play, but there are a crazy amount of good films from all genres making their bows during the festival as well.

It's a film lover's dream.

TIFF 2016 Begins Tonight, and That Means Midnight Madness!

The 2016 Toronto International Film Festival kicks off today, and it's absolutely packed to the gills with Must See movies.

Of course it's the Midnight Madness entries that we're most exciting about, because they're "The wild side: midnight screenings of the best in action, horror, shock and fantasy cinema." Yeah, that's pretty much in our wheelhouse.

So while there are plenty of dramas premiering at TIFF this year that we'd love to see, it's movies like Blair Witch, Colossal, The Girl With All The Gifts, Headshot, and I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House that has us chomping at the bit.

You can see a list of this year's Genre Premieres below, and for the complete breakdown of what's premiering when, and how to get tickets, click HERE.

TIFF runs from September 8th-18th.
