It's a pretty solid week on the VOD release front, with 8 new movies to choose from, 2 of which were big Summer Tent-pole flicks. Talk about variety...

*Be sure to click the pics to rent the movies, or watch their trailers. Or both. Or neither. It really depends on your mood, now doesn't it?

*If you aren't already a member, you should really give Amazon Prime a shot, especially if you order movies on the regular like we do, because the free two-day shipping pays for itself after around 10 orders. Check it out for free HERE.

Here are this week's VOD releases, ranked in order from most to least anticipated.

  1. The Neighbor is the one new movie that we're looking forward to seeing above all others this week. Review soon.
  2. The Wailing was a solid S.Korean supernatural thriller, and is definitely worthy of a rental. Review HERE.
  3. Tale of Tales looks solid, and has received some great reviews.
  4. Same goes for Therapy For a Vampire
  5. Night of the Living Deb looks like a cute little Indie Horror Comedy, and might be worth a go.
  6. X-Men: Apocalypse is what it is, and therefore, we'll be catching it when it hits HBO or something.
  7. We have no desire to see TMNT: Out of the Shadows, but that's just us.
  8. The Dead Room was alright. Nothing we'd rent again.
  9. Happy streaming!

  1. IDK where the movie Antibirth is at on your blog where I can comment under it, so I'll just stick it here...

Ok, so um, yeah, uh, WTF!?!?

I don't even know what to say about this movie , except for the fact that if you are a horror fan, you have to watch it, period.
Please, you have to stick with it to the very end. I can't even begin to explain anything about what I just witnessed, but it will def stick with you for awhile. The movie will feel like youre wathing something like the Repo Man, just because people all seem to be doing nothing, and nothing really seems to happen. LOL, I make it seem like the movie is a waste of time, but I swear, you won't regret it LOL.

Never have I given a recommendation to watch 80 minutes of a movie juse to get to the final 10, but this is the one for sure.

  2. Not sure if you have "Happy Birthday" up yet as a coming up movie, but I just watched it, It was pretty sweet. Made by Darko Productions, and the directer did a bunch of Aerosmith videos(which probably explains the big Steven Tyler cameo).
Def check it out when you see it, I think you will like it.
