Blu-ray & DVD: The Digital Dread Report for 9/6.

*We're a bit late with this week's DD Report due to the holiday weekend, but here it is. Apologies.

September has given us a a solid crop of new Blu-ray & DVD releases in its first week, many of which have us stretching our wallets.

  • The Neighbor is one that we've been dying to see, and now that we finally can, our review is coming soon.
  • Tale of Tales is another one that we've heard great things about, so it's on our list too.
  • Even though they're on DVD, the complete series sets of Friday the 13th: The Series and Tales From The Darkside are very, very, tempting. What great, old school shows they were.
  • The Iron Giant may be a cartoon, but it's one of our faves. We kinda have to have this one in our collection.
  • Roadhouse is one of the coolest flicks ever, and again, it needs to be in our collection.
  • The Ones Below was a solid Psychological Thriller, and one that we'd be happy to revisit. Read our review HERE.
  • The Hammer Films Double Features look like they'll be some old school fun.
  • As far as The Darkness (Review HERE) and Urge (Review HERE) go, we won't be buying them.
  • And everything else, as always, is a crap-shoot.

*Be sure to click the pics below to buy the movies, or even rent them. Or both. Or neither. It really depends on your mood, now doesn't it?
