Whats' New on VOD This Week? (8/30-9/2)

5 new, promising movies, that's what! Well, at least a few of them are promising, and they're the ones that we've already seen, so can we really call them promising after we know how they turned out?

Promising for you, how about that?

Here are this week's VOD releases, ranked in order from most to least anticipated.

1. The Neon Demon is at the very least a visually-striking and disturbing oddity. It's definitely one that is going to continue to divide audiences, but if it looks like your cup of tea, don't hesitate to check it out. Check out our review HERE.
2. Call me a fanboy if you will, but I love the MCU movies, and Captain America: Civil War entertained the hell out of me. I'll buy this one of Blu-ray rather than renting it, but if physical media isn't your thing, then rent it you should. Check out our review HERE.
3. The Conjuring 2 was a decent sequel, if a bit of an underwhelming one for us. Check out our review HERE.
4. Antibirth is a movie that we've been tracking for a while now, and we're a bit dismayed to find that Critics have been pretty harsh on it. We'll still check it out, and hope for the best though.
5. Critics haven't been very kind to Ghost Team either. With reviews that read "Worst Horror Comedy Ever", maybe we'll wait until it hits Netflix to check it out.
