The Best of... Thrillers!

If I had to pick one type of movie that I personally love more than any other, it's probably the Crime Thriller. Yeah, that's a pretty broad descriptor, but in this case I mean movies where Cops or criminals are on a rampage of some sort, preferably in a Horror-related way.

When I put this list together, I thought of movies like Se7en, Cold in July, Nighthawks, and Marshland, and asked myself what other movies would I group together with those, to create a binge-like marathon of intense, gritty, visceral Thrillers? A lot of movies that I came up with involve the hunt for Serial Killers; Cops chasing after criminals; criminals taking each other out; or "normal" people who are driven to the dark side of life to do violence.

• It's not a perfect list, and you could easily say "Hey, this movie doesn't fit with the others," but in the end, each of the movies below make for one hell of a crime-filled watch.
• This was a hard Top Six to do, as SO MANY of the movies on this list are excellent enough to be the best of the best. In the end, we went with what we thought were objectively the best of them. 
• Our normal lists usually include 30 movies plus 6 Honorable Mentions. This list, because I love Thrillers so damn much, contains 50 movies.

If you're in the mood for an intense Thriller, then any of the movies in our Top Six will do you right. I Saw the Devil, Se7en, and Silence of the Lambs are probably the "best" of them, but they all bring their own unique and terrifying vision to the Thriller Sub-Genre, so why not enjoy them all!

Below are the rest of the best of Thrillers. Keep in mind that no "Best of" list is ever perfect, but merely a solid starting point for anyone looking to watch some great flicks, and in this case, great flicks of a particular type.
