It's Friday, and that means a new batch of movies are hitting a Cineplex near you!
The big one, Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, doesn't hit until next week, but there are a few solid movies to keep us occupied until then.
- The new Divergent movie will certainly be a hit with younger viewers who think that The Hunger Games is the best thing ever. (WIDE.)
- Midnight Special is a Sci-Fi Thriller directed by the guy who gave us Mud (which was excellent), so it's got us totally excited. With its intriguing premise, excellent cast, and solid early reviews, it's one that we definitely want to see this weekend. (WIDE.)
- The Spanish-American co-production of Summer Camp looks pretty damned inspired. It's in Limited Release this weekend, so if it's playing anywhere near you, go and check it out. (LIMITED.)
- If you're lucky enough to be attending SXSW this year, you can see the premiere of Ti West's new Western, In a Valley of Violence. Early reviews are calling it brutal, hilarious, and refreshing, so it's probably safe to say that it's worth your time to check out. If you can. FESTIVAL.
