Did the world really need another MIB flick? I personally don't think so, it's a little bit to light and fluffy for my taste, but at least you know it'll be halfway decent. I do have to wonder though if the Exec's over at Sony are shitting their pants having to go up against the still-strong juggernaut of The Avengers... MIB has a pretty strong fan base, so maybe it will do better than Battleship or Dark Shadows.
It's nice to see that we get a pure horror flick in theaters this week too. Chernobyl Diaries is Oren Peli's latest hand held shocker, and it looks half way decent, but we're not counting on it to scare up much business between MIB and Avengers. Still, it's great to see a horror flick out there waiting for us once we're tired of the blockbusters.
