With 11 new VOD titles hitting streaming outlets this week, we're going to keep this post short and simple, and not break down each movie individually like we normally do.We really do prefer to do it long form like normal, but we've got Martyrs, Jeruzalem, and Crimson Peak reviews to get to this weekend, so short form it is.
Intruders, Jeruzalem, Rabid Dogs, and Synchronicity top our list of Must Watch VOD releases this week, but we're also curious to check out Exposed and The Veil.
- Blumhouse unceremoniously dumped three new movies both on Netflix, and VOD this week: Curve, The Veil, and Visions. Visions was painfully average (read our review HERE), and Curve and The Veil look to be about the same. If you have Netflix, watch them for free and save your money for something else.
- The other Blumhouse release of the week, and the one that will surely get many a Horror fan's blood boiling, is the remake of the 2008 French gem, Martyrs. Our review will be up soon, but if you can't wait to find out how the movie turned out, here's a small preview: It's a trainwreck. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
- Exposed is a new Thriller starring Keanu Reeves and Ana de Armas, both of whom starred in last year's Knock Knock. The trailer looks cool, so once we get through the pile of Horror flicks that are sitting on our desk, we'll definitely give it a go.
- We liked Intruders far more than we expected to (read our review HERE), and if you like a good Home Invasion Thriller (especially ones with a fun twist), then you should definitely give it a rent.
- We've been anxious to see Jeruzalem since last year, and now that it's finally out, and available to stream for FREE for Amazon Prime members, we'll be on it tonight.
- We're dying to see Rabid Dogs, mainly because it's a remake of the 1974 Mario Bava Thriller. And because ti looks great. It's on our list.
- Synchronicity looks like an interesting Sci-Fi flick that's centered around time travel. Also on our list.
- Lake Eerie and Sensoria are movies that we'll most likely catch when the hit Netflix or cable.
*Be sure to click the pics to rent the movies, or check out their trailers, and happy streaming!
