Need some Christmas Un-Cheer?- Black Christmas (1974) & (2006)

Just because it's Christmastime doesn't mean that we can't enjoy some of our favorite Seasonal Themed Horror flicks, now does it? Sure, it may be morbid to associate the most wonderful time of the year with bloody murder, but it's no worse than Black Friday... and we know you went out on Black Friday.

I mean, maybe watching Santa kill a bunch of innocent people might make us more grateful for the crappy ties and ugly shirts that we're going to find under our trees on Christmas morning. It's basically our gift to ourselves!

When it comes to Christmas related Horror flicks, there's probably no better place to start than with Black Christmas (1974). It's a classic Slasher in every sense of the word, and is just about as seminal as Christmas movie watching gets. *At least for people like us.

The Black Christmas (2006) remake isn't nearly as good as the original, but it manages to deliver the goods in its own way, and we love it for what it is.
