*Be sure to click the pics to rent the movies, or watch their trailers. Or both. Or neither. It really depends on your mood, now doesn't it?
*If you aren't already a member, you should really give Amazon Prime a shot, especially if you order movies on the regular like we do, because the free two-day shipping pays for itself after around 10 orders. Check it out for free HERE.
- The Blackcoat's Daughter (review HERE) is an excellent, moody, and dark film, and now that it's finally available on VOD for everyone to see, it should be on the top of your list.
- Here Alone is the release of the week for me, mainly because it looks great, and I haven't seen it yet, and I've been jonesing for a good Post-Apocalyptic flick lately.
- Rupture was... different. It was bloody and disturbing as hell, especially if spiders freak the shit out of you, but the point of the movie kind of left me asking what the point was. Still, it's one that's worth a rental.
- The Bye Bye Man didn't do crazy business at the Box Office, and critics were hardly kind to it, but as I've said before, we're suckers for these kinds of glossy, Hollywood fright flicks... at least suckers enough to give it a watch.
- Monster Trucks is one for the kids, and it looks like it could be fun.
- Peelers, Child Eater, and Raised by Wolves all seem like decent enough B-grade flicks.
- Happy streaming!
