Mindscape (aka Anna) is a psychological Thriller that features Mini-Farmiga as some creepy girl who is most likely trying to kill Marc Strong... and everyone else around her. Looks good.
All Cheerleaders Die is the new effort from Lucky McKee, and so we have to give it a go by default. McKee is one of our faves here at THC, and it's been far too long since we've seen something new from him. Plus, there's Cheerleaders.
The Devil's Knot was a decent dramatic telling of the infamous case of the West Memphis Three. Colin Firth stole the show here, and although the movie could have been far better, it's worth a look.
APP looks interesting, even though its "evil of technology" connotations are a bit off-putting.
In the House of Flies looks like It could be a low budget mess, but Henry Rollins is the man, and so we're probably going to check this one out, in spite of our better judgment, and hope for the best.
Rage (aka Tokarev) boasts Nic Cage killing people, and the beautiful presence of Rachel Nichols, so, it could be good...
We've seen Devil's Knot, so it looks like All Cheerleaders Die, Mindscape and APP will be the ones to get our money this weekend. The rest... we'll just have to see how it goes (maybe they'll hit Netflix in short order?)
*It looks as though APP and The Devil's Knot are playing on Amazon Instant while everything else is playing on Cable In-Demand & DirecTV. The links below will behave accordingly.
