All the boys can finally love Mandy Lane!

We love Mandy Lane. We've loved her since we saw her movie way back in 2008. The problem is, no one else has really seen this movie, since it was never properly released here in the U.S., thus rendering its title a lie.

All the boys can't love something they've never seen.

Well, fear not, boys, because the movie that premiered at TIFF way back in September of 2006, is finally getting a Theatrical and VOD release this summer.

7 years later.

Director Jonathan Levine has since gone on to helm great flicks like The Wackness, 50/50 and this year's fun zombie romance, Warm Bodies. Star Amber Heard has gone on to be one of the world's hottest chicks. Hell, even Anson Mount went on to become a bad ass on AMC's Hell on Wheels, so why hasn't this movie been released until now? Could we not have gotten even a crappy, bare-bones DVD release or something?

It's been released in 29 countries since 2006, including Bahrain and Angola, but not in the United States... because everybody knows that the big Box Office money is in Bahrain and Angola.

At least Hollywood is consistent in its efforts to make little to no sense.

Better late than never, I suppose.

  1. Wow, that took forever. It's a good little flick though so it's nice that it will finally be available in the US.
