31 Days of Horror: Theatrical Release Dates for October!

Theatrical
Annabelle, Gone Girl, The Canal, Dracula Untold, Ouija, Horns... October is going to be one creepy month in Theaters!

With so many movies bowing on VOD these days, it's good to see that at least some quality titles get a chance to shine in Theaters as well. A lot of this month's offerings may be of the Limited Release variety, but at least they get  chance to shine theatrically, even if it is only in select cities.

It's also really great to see that John Carpenter's Halloween (1978) will be in back in Theaters for all of October, especially for those of us who were two young to see it on the big screen 35 years ago (and that's probably most of us.) It looks like Saw (2014) is trying to capitalize on that nostalgia vibe as well, as it will be hitting Theaters for one week beginning on Oct. 31st to celebrate it's 10th Anniversary.

So in-between all of the great Horror offerings that we'll be watching in the comfort of our own homes this October, it's good to know that we'll have plenty of reasons to get up off of our butts and visit our local Multiplex or Art House Theaters, because any opportunity too have a 50lb. bucket of buttered popcorn is always a good thing... I mean movies. We love movies.

*Halloween will be in Theaters all month long.
*Saw will be in Theaters for one week, starting the 31st.
*The Eli Roth-produced Clown is supposed to be out on the 31st, but there’s still no poster for it, so we’re not including it here.
*7500 has been delayed so much that its Oct. 3rd release date could just be another ruse.
