This week, the theaters clearly belong To Ridley Scott and his Alien "prequel", Prometheus. It won't likely do Avengers-size numbers, domestically or internationally, but the rabid Alien Universe fan base should be enough to make it a decent sized hit. Aside from The Dark Knight Rises, there's no other movie this summer that we want to see more.
For those looking for something a bit smaller in scale... Simon Pegg's new horror- inspired comedy, A Fantastic Fear of Everything, opens in the UK only. The Oregonian and The Wicked are both smaller films that are seeing limited release this week as well.
Like we said though, it's all about Prometheus this weekend.
