What's New on VOD this Week? (5/30-6/2)

The crop of VOD releases slated to June look like an uneven one at best, but every week there's at least one or two flicks that will have our attention.

This week, it's Seoul Station and Life.

*Be sure to click the pics to rent the movies, or watch their trailers. Or both. Or neither. It really depends on your mood, now doesn't it?

*If you aren't already a member, you should really give Amazon Prime a shot, especially if you order movies on the regular like we do, because the free two-day shipping pays for itself after around 10 orders. It's got a hell of a free movie library too. Check it out for free HERE.

  • Who would have thought that an anime prequel to the excellent Train to Busan (read our review HERE) would be the movie that we'd covet most this week, but here it is. Seoul Station looks excellent, has received stellar reviews, and so we're all in. *It's streaming exclusively on iTunes right now.
  • Same goes for Life; we're all in. It just looks like our kind of flick.
  • A Cure For Wellness is one that we'll be renting, when we're in the mood for something artistic and visually impressive. It didn't get great reviews when it hit theaters though, and at 146 minutes long, we're really going to have to be in that mood.

  • Out of the other three releases of the week, we'll give the first episode of Law of Perdition a chance. A Crime Thriller with a Supernatural bent sounds good to us. *All episodes are streaming free right now via Amazon Prime.
  • Be Afraid and Devil's Domain look decent enough.
  • Happy Streaming!
