It was originally supposed to come out way back in 2014, and three years later, after multiple re-shoots and re-workings, it's been delayed once again for some unknown reason. Alright, the reason is probably that it sucks, but come on already and just dumb it on VOD or something, would you?
One of us here at THC has a serious love for all things Amityville, which means that we've sat through every single movie with the name Amityville in the title, and let me tell you that some of them have been bottom of the barrel horrible.
So even if this new, bigger-budgeted Amityville flick ends up sucking, we still need to see it.
When that will be though, is anyone's guess.

This may not be the right place for this, and if it isn't I apologize for plugging up your thread. I have always wondered how many people are a part of this blog? How many people do you have watching and reviewing films? I love your blog and I have been reading it almost every week for the last several years and so I just wanted to also say great job! Your posts are always humorous and I like reading up on the random horror movies across the globe. Keep up the great work!

DeleteI do all of the work on the site, for better or worse, and then there are 3 househoulds with our mai members (5 people), and then about 10 or so more causal members who do not make up our core.
It's basically a family thing.
Thanks for the kind words, Anon. I try to make humor a part of every review, because it jsut feels right. And that's how we watch our movies... with plenty of snark.
