Dwight K. Schrute vs. a sociopathic 9-year-old; a feral kid wreaking bloody havoc on a bunch of Belgian Boy Scouts; and a gang of teens caught up in some supernatural hi-jinks... these are the VOD Releases of the 2nd to last week of August!

The Boy: An intimate portrait of a 9-year-old sociopath's growing fascination with death.
We've been waiting to see this movie for a long time now, and if it's anywhere near as twisted as its trailer makes it look, then we'll be happy campers. Seeing Rainn Wilson in a dramatic role will also be nice for a change.
Cub: Over-imaginative 12 year-old Sam heads off to the woods to summer scout camp with his pack convinced he will encounter a monster...and he does.
Cub is a movie that is as exciting as it is disturbing, and that's just how we like it. It's not a perfect movie, but it hit enough of the right notes to make it a really good one. We'll definitely be looking forward to seeing whatever it is that director Jonas Govaerts does next.
The Curse of Downers Grove: A teen angst thriller at a high school gripped by an apparent curse that claims the life of a senior every year. Story follows a senior, Chrissie, who is skeptical, and another, Tracy, who believes that she may be the next victim.
We're not hearing a lot of great things about this one, but we're going to watch it anyhow. Why? Because it looks promising, and maybe it will end up being a better Teen Terror flick than most early reviews are giving it credit for.
Plus, Bella Heathcote is a QT, so, who are we not to give her new movie an open-minded chance?
