"26-year-old Ignatius "Ig" Perrish wakes up one morning after a drunken night (in the woods containing an old foundry, near where his girlfriend's corpse was discovered) to find that he has sprouted bony, sensitive horns from his temples..."
And that is as much of this book/upcoming movie that we are prepared to spoil for you.
We read Joe Hill's book last year, on the basis that he's Stephen King's son (which made us curious), and due to the fact that Alexandre Aja (Haute Tension) was adapting it into a film starring Harry Potter and Juno Temple.
We really liked the book a lot, and it was easy for us to imagine how it would play out on film, which has made Horns one of our most anticipated movies of 2014. *We'd love to be more specific about our reaction to the book, but it would honestly give a lot away. We'll just say that as bad-ass and as gripping as the story was, it evoked far more emotion in us than we thought it would.
We've been waiting for what seems like forever to see a Horns trailer of any sort (even this far-too-short teaser), and so we'll gladly take it, despite the fact that it teased us way too much!
Hopefully we'll get a longer trailer soon, and an announcement of a release date would be nice, but until then, if you're as curious as we are about Horns, you can check out the Novel HERE.
Might as well read it while you wait, you know?
