The Digital Dread Report for April 22nd

Big Bad Wolves is finally hitting Blu-ray & DVD this week, and that is a lovely thing. It's one of the best movies we've seen all year, and at $14.98, it's an absolute steal. We can't wait to see this one in Blu-ray quality.

Forget the shitty 2009 remake, Sorority Row, because the original -The House on Sorority Row- is out on Blu-ray today, and it's a way better Slasher effort.A must own for fans of Retro Slasher flicks.

We'll also take a copy of each of the Get Carter movies too; both the 1971 Michael Caine version, and the 2000 Sylvester Stallone remake. Both are great action flicks, and we've been waiting for a long time to see them released on Blu-ray.

Everything else this week, is a crap shoot.

  1. I snagged BBV (based on your earlier review), House on Sorority Row, Scream Park and Legend of the Psychotic Forest Ranger. I'm sure the latter two aren't the greatest films ever, but they were preordered from amazon on-the-cheap, so I suspect I'll at least get my money's worth.
