Blu-ray & DVD: The Digital Dread Report for 11/16

In a world where streaming movies in HD is growing in popularity, it gets harder and harder to justify spending hard earned money on physical media. The fact is though that when done right, nothing makes a movie look or sound better on Blu-ray, so we bring you The Digital Dread Report to help you figure out what's worth buying, and what you're better off streaming.

  • Better Call Saul is an excellent show, and if you aren't watching it,you need to be. Of course if it is new to you, you should start at the beginning.
  • Beyond Skyline looks like a step up from the abysmal first movie (read our review HERE), and with Frank Grillo and the guys from The Raid movies along for the ride, it's one that should pack quite a punch.
  • Blade Runner 2049 was pretty cool. It's a bit out there, slow, VERY long, and much of it felt like watching some kind of dream, but man was it a cool flick. This Blu-ray is going to look gorgeous.
  • Happy Death Day was a fun flick (review soon), and one that most Horror fans will probably get a kick out of.
  • The Snowman was one of the worst movies of 2017, and if you like movies that are so-bad-they're-good, then look no further.
  • And finally we have YOR; Hunter From the Future, which is pure, 80's Bad Movie goodness. It's pure MST3K fodder, and that's a good thing.

Be sure to click the pics below to buy the movies, or even rent them. Or both. Or neither. It really depends on your mood, now doesn't it?
