Blu-ray & DVD: The Digital Dread Report for 1/9

In a world where streaming movies in HD is growing in popularity, it gets harder and harder to justify spending hard earned money on physical media. The fact is though that when done right, nothing makes a movie look or sound better on Blu-ray, so we bring you The Digital Dread Report to help you figure out what's worth buying, and what you're better off streaming.

  • IT is the big Blu-ray release this week, and as excited as we are to watch the movie again, we're equally geeked to check out the deleted/extended scenes, and eat up the rest of the behind-the-scenes material too. Mandatory day one purchase. Review HERE.
  • 68 Kill was a fun flick, and one that we'd be cool with checking out again. Review HERE.
  • Arrow's release of Cat o' Nine Tails is sure to be a good disc, even if it's not one of our favorite Argento flicks. Review HERE.
  • The Foreigner looks like a flick we'd dig, so we'll be checking this disc out.
  • And Friend Request is... well, it's a movie that came and went from theaters with little fanfare, because it wasn't that great.

Be sure to click the pics below to buy the movies, or even rent them. Or both. Or neither. It really depends on your mood, now doesn't it?
