What's New on VOD This Week? (11/1-11/4)

If you're looking for something scary to watch even though Halloween has come and gone, fear not: there's no shortage of new genre material hitting VOD outlets this week, and some of them look pretty damned good.

*Be sure to click the pics to rent the movies, or watch their trailers. Or both. Or neither. It really depends on your mood, now doesn't it?

*If you aren't already a member, you should really give Amazon Prime a shot, especially if you order movies on the regular like we do, because the free two-day shipping pays for itself after around 10 orders. Check it out for free HERE.

Here are this week's VOD releases, ranked in order from most to least anticipated.

  • The Shelter is a flick written and directed by Arrow in the Head's very own Arrow (John Fallon), and it's one that we definitely need to check out.
  • Available exclusively on Joblo's YouTube Channel, Wolf Mother is one that we want to see if only because Najarra Townsend is in it... we love us some Najarra Townsend.
  • Anthropoid is a WWII Thriller in the vein of Valkyrie that we'll definitely be watching.
  • Last Girl Standing looks really good. On our list for sure.
  • Hell House LLC looks like a Found Footage flick that could end up being pretty decent.
  • Trash Fire might end up being decent too.
  • I could swear that The Curse of Robert the Doll had already been released, like last year or something, but either way, it looks like a cheesy killer doll movie that we may catch when it hits Netflix.
  • Hotel Hell doesn't look so great, but maybe it will entertain clown lovers.
  • Krampus: The Dumpsterfire looks like an awful, C-grade attempt to cash in on last year's awesome Krampus movie, and we'll be avoiding it completely.
  • Happy Streaming.!

  1. I'd be curious to see what you think of Hell House LLC. That one sort of screwed me up... as a usual hater of found footage, this one at least managed to creep me out quite a bit! I have to recommend it!
