UPDATED: Our Top 31 (or so) Upcoming Movies of 2017!

*This is an on-going post which is updated every Tuesday & Friday, to keep up with releases and release date changes.

We're always, ALWAYS, searching for newest and best Horror & Genre movies & TV shows to watch, which is why we work so hard to keep our Blu-ray & DVD, Theatrical, VOD, and TV release dates pages up to date.

One thing that we've never done though, until now, is kept a running list of the movies coming soon to a big or small screen near you that we want to see the most, and there are always a lot of those. With that in mind, below you'll find the Top 30-ish Upcoming Horror & Genre Projects that have us chomping at the bit like rabid fiends.

• The movies listed below all have release dates that are set. As you know, some of them can, and will, change.

• You'll only find new projects that will be Theatrical, VOD, and TV releases on this list. Nothing that's coming soon on disc (unless it’s some sort of Special Edition.)

• We will include a few upcoming TV shows of the highest interest on the list, but keep them limited so as to focus more on movies.

• You can click the pics to be taken to each movie's IMDB page, for release date info, etc...The release dates can also be found in the file names.

• This list will be mainly comprised of upcoming Horror projects, but the occasional Superhero, Sci-Fi, or Action flick might break through. It's all relative to our interests.

• We will add and remove titles from this list as needed, which will be pretty often.

• Mark your calendars!

7/2- We’ve added Residue to the list, and also updated a few posters.

I SWEAR THAT IF YOU USE YOUR MOUSE TO SCROLL UP AND DOWN WHILE LOOKING AT THIS PIC, THE VIDEO TAPE MOVES. CREEPY.

UPDATED: Our Top 30 (or so) TBA Movies of 2017!

There always seems to be an endless amount of new Horror & Genre movies on the horizon that for one reason or another, take forever to see the light of day; they get delayed, shifted around, moved back and forth, or just flat-out shelved. Whatever the cause of their delay, they are all labeled as "Coming Soon."

As lovers of all things Horror, we're dying to see the new movies that we're teased with, and we know that they're coming "soon," but without an actual distribution plan in place, all we can do is sit and wait. And hope.

The movies below are the ones that we're most curious about that don't have actual Release Dates in place. Some of them, we've been waiting for what seems like forever; while others, we barely know anything about. All of them have promise though, and we'll be in line when they finally do see proper release.

For now, they are nothing more than movies living in To Be Announced limbo.

Our TBA criteria:

• Festival showings do not count as Release Dates.

• "The Fall" or "2nd Quarter of 2017" are not Release Dates either. They're guesstimates.

• Until a movie is released in the U.S., it’s still TBA to us. Because that’s where we live.

• If a a movie that is scheduled or rumored to be released in 2016 doesn't have a poster, we're not including them on our list. Know why? Because release a simple little placeholder poster until your "good ones" are ready, movie people! That’s why.

THIS LIST WILL CONSTANTLY BE A WORK IN PROGRESS...

What's New on VOD This Week? (6/27-6/30)

Two sisters trapped in a swimming pool; a one-armed girl kicks some ass;  a haunted murder house; Vin Diesel vs. The Rock; Kristen Stewart naked and haunted; and Resident Evil: The Cartoon... it's a small week for releases, but the titles are all promising.

*Be sure to click the pics to rent the movies, or watch their trailers. Or both. Or neither. It really depends on your mood, now doesn't it?

*If you aren't already a member, you should really give Amazon Prime a shot, especially if you order movies on the regular like we do, because the free two-day shipping pays for itself after around 10 orders. It's got a hell of a free movie library too. Check it out for free HERE.

• 12 Feet Deep has an interesting premise gong for it, and it looks all kinds of intense.
• The Bad Batch looks like it's all kinds of twisted awesomeness, and we like the idea of Jason Momoa as a bad guy.
• Darkness Rising is one that we've been clocking for a while now, and we'll definitely give it a go and hope for the best.
• Fate of the Furious looks like, big, stupid, testosterone fueled fun.
• Personal Shopper was pretty decent, although it's a very quiet and "uneventful" film. It had a few genuine scares, and if you like Kristen Stewart, then she's naked in this one (not only just her body, but her tortured soul), so have fun.
• Resident Evil: Vendetta looks like a cool, feature-length cut scene from the video games, and might be good for a quick hour's worth of entertainment.
• Happy streaming!
