What's New on TV in September?

Aside from a few noteworthy exceptions, the Summer months were pretty sparse on the TV front, but that's all about to change in September, when shows like The Deuce, Top of the Lake, Channel Zero, and The Inhumans arrive to give us that weekly fix of good drama.

Potentially, that is.

The Theatrical Releases of September!

The Halloween Season has begun, and there is no shortage of great flicks hotting theaters this month to kick it off in proper fashion.

The big one, and maybe even the biggest one of the year, is the remake of Stephen King's IT. Advance reviews are calling it nothing short of stellar, and we cant wait to see The Loser's Club face off against Pennywise. Man, September 8th can't get here fast enough.

There's also Mother!, Jackals, Woodshock, Super Dark Times, and The Houses October Built 2 to look forward to, and if you're really brave, you can take a chance on the remake of Flatliners (blah), and the long-delayed Friend Request, which could go either way.

It's going to be a hell of a theatrical month.

Of course, Release Dates can change at any time without notice, so take them with a grain of salt... *Links got to UHM or IMDB because they give great info on upcoming Horror projects.

Random Picture Round-Up: The September Releases Edition!

We spend a lot of time here at THC searching for great pictures to use in our reviews, for our banners, and for whatever else strikes our fancy. It's not always easy finding the perfect screenshot, but when we do find pictures that make us laugh, say "What the hell?," or are just plain awesome, we save them.

Unfortunately, we never use them all, and so they just sit there in our picture folder, waiting... which is why we decided to start posting them in random groups on a weekly basis!

They might even help you to decide what to watch.

It's September 1st, and that means that The Halloween Season has begun!

With that in mind, this time out we're focusing on the new releases in August that we most want to catch at the theater, on VOD, or on disc.
