Scandal rocks THC!

THC's very own "Erin" has been placed on active suspension following her admission of not knowing what Fright Night or The Monster Squad were. You know, the horror classics, that were instant classics when she was a kid? According to inside sources, after being asked "Do you think Colin Farrell will be good in the Fright Night remake?", this is the exchange that took place: "What's that?" "What's what? "Fright Night. Never heard of it." Silence fell across the room. Troubled looks were exchanged between THC members. More silence. Then finally her husband chimed in with "She didn't know what Monster Squad was until we watched it last year either." From the other room we could hear the sounds of their children weeping because mommy broke their hearts. After a saucy debate and some unsavory words, it all ended with Erin saying "Whatever." This is the ugly side of the business, folks. The shameful, deceitful underbelly seldom talked about in polite company. All details regarding punishment and possible litigation are being withheld pending a judiciary review, or until she bakes us some cookies or something and erases this blight from out horror loving minds.

We just hit 100,000 page hits!

It's a proud moment for us here at THC; our little horror blog has been looked at and searched 100,000 times! I installed the hit counters sometime in November, just as a goof to see if people were actually checking us out on a regular basis. Imagine our surprise when the numbers kept climbing, and climbing... -The top number indicates actual page views. For instance, if you come here, that's one page view; if you click on 5 of our links, that's 5 more. -The bottom number is the number on unique ISP's that have visited the site. If you come here once, the number goes up by one and won't count you again unless you have one of those ISP's that change every time you browse the net. This first screen grab was taken by me on December 30th, 2008: This next one, was taken today: That's 83,618 times that people have read our pages since essentially the first of the year. It's also 62,072 new people who have found their way to us. To us, that's simply amazing. We love horror, we love all of our friends around the world (you), so keep coming back and we will keep doing our best to give you a reason to.

10,000!

Today our blog hit 10,000 unique visitors from the U.S.! That's 2000 or so new visitors each month since the counter went up... Yes, I am a geek, and this does excite me! I popped this neat little hit counter on the blog sometime in November, mainly because I wanted to see just which countries actually came and visited us to represent horror for their native lands. Some of them surprised me, while all of them just made me happy to be a part of the worldwide love-fest for horror flicks. Party weekend!

Were celebrating a birthday and the arrival of a new baby here at THC tonight, so no new posts until Sunday evening... There will be syringe's filled with 151 run though :)
