Game of Thrones is ruling the airwaves as the best show on TV right now, but it's about to have some company at the top of that list with the arrival of 3 other excellent shows this week (and 2 decent-enough ones.)

  • Kingdom is one of the best shows on TV that most people probably don't even know exists. An excellent blend of MMA action and Family Drama, you absolutely need to see this show if you love good TV. Wednesday, 9 P.M., DirecTV
  • Outcast, the new Horror venture from Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman, impressed us with its first episode, and we can't wait to see more. It's off to a really good start. Friday, 10 P.M., Cinemax
  • Scream is what it is (an alright MTV show), but maybe Season 2 will be better than its 1st one, which was kinda alright. Monday, 11 P.M., MTV
  • Peaky Blinders is like Boardwalk Empire only set in 1920's England, and it stars Cillian Murphy and Tom Hardy, and it's excellent. Season 3 premieres Tuesday on Netflix.
  • Season 2 of The Playstation Network show, Powers, also debuts on Tuesday, and while we only caught a few episodes from its 1st Season, we dig Sharlto Copley, and it looked like good fun. Season 2 premieres Tuesday on PSN.

One of the funniest shows on TV, and one of the only cartoons I can watch (Rick & Morty and Bob's Burgers being the others), Archer concludes its 7th Season on Thursday, and we're sad to see it go. We like some laughter amidst all of the Horror we consume, and now we'll have one last show that's guaranteed to make us laugh to kick around. At least until next  season.
