What's Premiering on TV this Week & a TV Release Dates Page Update!

http://thehorrorclub.blogspot.com/2014/02/thc-tv-release-dates-archive.html
Summer is here, and with it comes plenty of great TV shows to keep us cool on those long, sweltery nights.

We added Humans, Ballers, Sex, Drug & Rock n' Roll, Hell on Wheels, and Fear the Walking Dead to the list, and gave 10 other titles brand new posters. To see it all, click the banner above to be taken to our TV Release Date Archive.

As for what's coming and going this week on TV...

Hannibal: "After the devastating bloodbath at Lecter's home, Hannibal establishes a new life for himself in Italy along with the company of his own psychiatrist Bedelia."

Do we even need to tell you how great this show is? If so, then you're a bad Horror fan, and shame on you!

This show is one of the best on TV, and after the WTF cliffhanger that last season left us with, e are dying to see what happens next, most importantly, who survived the bloody finale. We know that Hannibal will be caught and in prison by mid-season, because that's when the Red Dragon storyline begins, but we also know that watching it unfold is going to be spectacular.

Thursday, please get here quick!

The Season Premiere of Hannibal airs Thursday at 10 P.M. on NBC.

Power: "Season 2 picks up where the first season left off: with James ""Ghost" St. Patrick doubling down on his drug business to save both his nightclub, and his dream of a legitimate future."

We still have to catch up on the back-half of Season One of this solid crime drama (shame on us, I know), but what we have seen of Power so far has been impressive. We'll definitely be binge-watching Season One soon.

The Season Premiere of Power airs Saturday at 9 P.M. on Starz.

Sense8: "A group of people around the world are suddenly linked mentally, and must find a way to survive being hunted by those who see them as a threat to the world's order."

Not sure what to make of this series. We loved The Matrix (and yes we even enjoyed the sequels), but since then The Wachowski's haven't really done anything near as good, and some of the movies they've done have been flat out bad.

Will Sense8 be the next big Netflix Original hit, or will it just lend further credence to the belief that The Wachowski's were one hit wonders? We'll find out Friday.

All 10 episodes of Sense8 Season One premiere on Netflix on Friday, at 3 A.M. EST.

The Whispers: "An unseen force is manipulating society's most innocent-our children-to act in favor of its cause. As the kids unwittingly help this unknown enemy, the clock counts down in this suspenseful race to save humanity."

Based on the Ray Bradbury short story, Zero Hour, The Whispers is about an evil force that manipulates the children of the world to do horrible things... like kill their parents and help to facilitate an alien invasion. The original story was great, and Steven Spielberg is an Executive Producer on the show, so it might just be worth a look. Then again, it's on ABC, so we'll see if it ends up being just another watered-down, formulaic drama, or something more.

The Series Premiere of The Whispers airs Monday at 10 P.M. on ABC.

Two Syfy shows  end their seasons this week. Since we watch neither of them, there's not much that we can say about them other than they're Canadian shows that air on Syfy. So at least there's that.

Bitten: "As the witches prepare for Savannah's initiation ritual, Aleister arrives to Stovenhaven to stir up trouble."

The Bitten Season Finale airs Friday at 11 P.M.on SYFY.

Lost Girl: "Bo and the gang deal with the aftermath of a storm."

The Lost Girl Season Finale airs Thursday at 10 P.M. on SYFY.
